What to Expect at Your Appointment

Your appointment is one-to-one with a diamond specialist, with no pressure to decide on the day. You're welcome to bring a partner, friend or family member.

  1. Before you arrive

    Tell us your budget and the styles you like when you book, and we'll prepare a selection of settings and diamonds for you.

  2. During your visit

    Try on settings, compare natural and lab-grown diamonds side by side with their certificates, and ask anything about cut, colour, clarity and carat.

  3. After your appointment

    Take as long as you need to decide. When you're ready, we'll confirm your design and make your ring to order.

Francesco grew up in Hatton Garden's jewellery trade and built Primo around one idea: choosing an engagement ring should feel calm and personal, never rushed.

That background shapes the advice we give and the way each ring is made. Whether you arrive with a clear design in mind or just a few screenshots, we'll explain your options without jargon and help you compare certified natural and lab-grown diamonds in person.

My goal is simple: to give you honest advice, exceptional value and complete confidence in your decision.

Why Visit a Hatton Garden Jeweller?

Buying an engagement ring online is convenient, but seeing diamonds in person still tells you things a photo can't: how a stone catches the light, how a setting sits on your finger, how two diamonds of the same grade can look surprisingly different.

As Hatton Garden jewellers, we work a few minutes from the workshops and diamond dealers who help make our rings, which means more choice and a shorter journey from design to finished ring. The area has been the centre of London's diamond trade for well over a century.

Do I need an appointment?

We recommend booking ahead, so one of our team can give you their full attention and prepare a selection for you.

Is the consultation free?

Yes. Appointments are free and there's no obligation to buy.

How long does an appointment take?

Around 45 minutes, though you're welcome to take as long as you need.

Can I bring someone with me?

Of course. Many couples come together, or with a friend or family member.

Can I have a consultation without visiting?

Yes. We offer video consultations, and can share diamonds and CAD designs with you remotely.

Can I visit on a Saturday?

Yes, we're open on Saturdays from 10am to 6pm. We recommend booking ahead, so a specialist is free when you arrive.

Can I bring my own diamond or a family stone?

Yes. We can design a new setting around an heirloom stone and check its condition first.

Can I collect my ring from the showroom?

Yes, you're welcome to collect in person, and we'll check the fit before you leave.
